Privacy Policy

Home Assistant Pool Logging is a personal, owner-operated integration that records pool-related monitoring information from Home Assistant in Google Sheets. It is not offered as a public service.

Information accessed

When the owner authorizes the integration through Google OAuth, the integration may access the Google Sheets resources permitted by the authorization. It also processes pool-related measurements and logging information supplied by the owner's Home Assistant system.

How information is used

Google access is used to create and maintain the owner's pool monitoring records in Google Sheets. The integration is not used for advertising, profiling, or selling personal information.

Storage and sharing

Pool records are stored in the owner's Google Sheets account, subject to Google's account and sharing settings. Home Assistant may retain related configuration and operational information within the owner's own installation. This personal integration does not intentionally transmit pool records to third-party advertising or analytics services.

Retention and deletion

The owner controls the retention and deletion of records in their Google Sheets account and Home Assistant installation. Deleting spreadsheet records does not necessarily remove copies retained by Google under its own policies.

Authorization and revocation

The owner can revoke the integration's Google access through Google Account third-party connections and can remove or reconfigure the integration in Home Assistant. Revoking access prevents further authorized access but does not automatically delete records already stored in Google Sheets.
